Say goodbye to things that you swore you'd never leave behind,
It's a calling you've turned deaf to and you're unsatisfied,
"Freedom for Security", but even then, that's a lie!
Cuz at any given moment it can come crashing down,
Bossman could throw us out; destabilize another town.
So what's there to do? And who's it gonna be?
Who you beholden to in the land of the free?

Processed meal in cardboard box,
Sawdust and glucose, it never seems to be enough
It's got you feeling sick and you ain't sleeping right,
Just another burnt out cog with bills to pay, no will to fight

Came to the bossman saying "think we might be getting robbed?
You say you take the risks to dole out your dimes,
But your pocket's full of dollars, so you buy your way to better times

You could choke on your rations and beans,
You could waste away, they control all the means!
